DirigoSailing was founded to advance the next generation's appreciation of America's sea-going tradition. The 72 foot Alden schooner DIRIGO II is available for educational/adventure charter out of Alamitos Bay in Long Beach California.

DIRIGO II is kept in authentic restored condition, and is available for day, weekend and longer crewed charters for 4 -12 people.  Complete prescheduled 3 through 6 day adventure packages are also available on a per-passenger basis. DIRIGO II has been purchased for similar use in Chesapeake Bay Md.  For inquiries concerning East Coast use in 2009, Contact Steve Alexander at (301) 646-0805, Dirigo Sailing Maryland.  The delivery of Dirigo will begin Dec 2008, and is detailed in " 2008 Adventure".
