DirigoSailing was founded to advance the next generation's appreciation of America's sea-going tradition. The 72 foot Alden schooner DIRIGO II is available for educational/adventure charter out of Alamitos Bay in Long Beach California.

DIRIGO II is kept in authentic restored condition, and is available for day, weekend and longer crewed charters for 4 -12 people.  Complete prescheduled 3 through 6 day adventure packages are also available on a per-passenger basis. DIRIGO II has been purchased for similar use in Chesapeake Bay Md.  For inquiries concerning East Coast use in 2010, Contact Steve Alexander at (301) 646-0805, Dirigo Sailing Maryland.  The delivery of Dirigo will begin Dec 2009.

Attention Singles!!!  Dirigo can be chartered for afternoon or longer events with all passengers being prescreened, adventurous, and single.  Berthing will be same sex per cabin, all single berths.  The singles charters are arranged by joining www.tableforsix.com .  Events appearing on our schedule denoted as "singles" require membership.
