Deck Repair at Foremast
There were more than 2000 plug repairs. Here they are all chiseled flush. The epoxy paste eats up a chisel blade every couple hundred cuts. The new planking is fastened with silicon bronze fasteners. These plugs will be set with varnish, to allow fastener removal if necessary. (God we hope not soon)
