Laminating oak for the fore gaff jaws
Eight planks at 3/8 inch are laminated together to eventually yield about 2 5/8 inch jaws. We try a double curve in hopes of making both jaw halves from a single laminated curve. This actually works, but it is a chinese fire drill trying to fasten all the clamps with 10 minutes.
