Winch clavels
The winch clavels are all redone in purpleheart. The previous had been oak which was mostly dry rotted. Some have line ties, some do not. Some were found in the trailer workshop, possibly removed as stanchions fell to rot. The determined layout is not symmetric, port to starboard. There is no one to help us here, no one alive really knows exactly where these were originally. We do the best that we can, and the layout that we have determined has worked well under sail so far.
