This is on August 8th, 1997. The replaced stanchions are clearly visible as is the maximum chain plate planking sacrifice. When the planking was replaced, additional portions of various planks were removed to accomplish a structurally acceptable stagger

In the fall of 2005 we determined to repair several significant flaws, and to install a newer engine. Some of the work is done before the haul out, 3 months of work is done in the yard, and some of the work is done after the haul out.

On Nov 15th, 2006 a purchase contract was signed on Dirigo. On Dec 1st work started on foredeck refastening and windlass replacement.
